Everyone’s pumped for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2, thanks to a number of new weapons and improvements made to the battle royale shooter.

While the game is far from perfect, due to the nature of glitches in an online-only free-to-play game, there’s still a lot of fun to be had with the current Season of Warzone.

However, despite the update only coming out recently, a lot of fans are already wondering when we will be getting Warzone Season 3.

Here's when Season 3 of Warzone will release.

When Is The Warzone Season 3 Release Date?

Season 3 of Warzone should arrive on the 21st April 2020 based on the Season 2 Battle Pass expiry date.

The Battle Pass expiring usually results in the next once proceeding straight after, which has been the case for a number of seasons now.

Unless there is a delay to the current season, this should be the case this time around.

The nature of multiplayer seasons isn’t yearly like a television show but about every few months or so.

This is why games like Fall Guys or Ninjala can reach Season 5 without being out for a year and that rule applies to Warzone as well.

Waiting for these seasonal updates can take a while so fans should just enjoy Warzone Season 2 and not worry so much about what Warzone Season 3 will bring.

Despite some bugs and a few nasty exploits, the game is perfectly playable, with a fairly healthy fanbase that means you won’t have to wait too long when starting a game.

Maybe don’t turn on the chat unless you’re playing with friends, because the last thing you need is a spoiled 12-year-old cursing you out.

It’s going to take some time before we see anything about Warzone Season 3 so it’s really best if you don’t think about it right now.

Maybe the current offerings for Warzone Season 2 aren’t so great, which is why some people might be waiting for the next season, but if they don’t like what they’re playing now, they might as well play another game.

Still, for those that still love Call of Duty, they should keep playing.
