Beyond Light is here, and this year's Iron Banner brings back a deadly hand cannon – The Steady Hand.
This weapon can be ideal for either PvE or PvP content, with an excellent pool of perks.
Here are our recommended ones for each type of content.

Destiny 2 The Steady Hand God Roll
PvE
For PvE, there aren't as many viable options as in PvP but The Steady Hand is nonetheless well worth a look.
With the following perks, you can increase its range, handling, magazine capacity and its slow base reload speed.
Aside from that, we'd go with Wellspring to boost ability recharge.
For the God Roll, look out for the following perks:
- Steadyhand HCS
- Appended Mag
- Outlaw
- Wellspring
PvP
For PvP, you'll want a slightly tweaked version of the weapon.
Again, you'll want to buff the reload speed (we'd recommend Light Mag, since it also boosts range). The Truesight HCS also boosts range and stability.
We'd also opt for Killing Wind, which boosts a Guardian's range, mobility, and weapon handling after a kill, as well. as Swashbuckler for a damage boost.
PvP God Roll, then, is:
- Truesight HCS
- Light Mag
- Killing Wind
- Swashbuckler
Destiny 2 Beyond Light: How To Get The Steady Hand
There's only one way to earn The Steady Hand, and it's in Iron Banner.
The gun can be awarded after a match when playing the mode, and can also appear in Rank Up packages from Lord Saladin.
It can also drop as an Iron Banner bounty reward – just remember you need to clear those before you can turn in your tokens, if you haven't already this season.
