Mobile devices will surely receive the game in the future, as China has already been granted the license to develop a mobile version called 'Jelly Bean Man: Ultimate Knock Out'.

Guides

What's New?

The latest Fall Guys theme is Medieval, meaning the costumes and stages will be themed around this famous time period.

Standout features are yet to be set in concrete, but a few updates have popped out of Mediatonic headquarters that may give us a hint.

Big Yeetus And Thicc Bonkus

Fall Guys official Twitter account detailed that developer Mediatonic is "working on a little something that we have been calling Big Yeetus,".

This is a gigantic hammer that will randomly appear in levels to shake things up.

It can massively change up the game by punting players across the stage.

Now they've also introduced Thicc Bonkus, a smaller rolling pin looking object that swings on a pendulum attempting to knock players off the stage.

New Season Pass

As they did in Season 1 a new pass will be added with plenty of new costumes and other rewards for you to unlock.

New Costumes And New Stages

As expected, new costumes and stages are being added to the game.

These costumes include:

  • Viking Male
  • Viking Female
  • Wizard
  • Witch
  • Dragon
  • Knight

Plus many more. You can also check out the stages below.

Fall With Friends

Fall Guys is adding a whole new meaning to 'Fall Guys'.

Now you can fall with your friends when loading into a game, rather than falling solo. It's one of the many requests that came from the community and Mediatonic were happy to listen.

New Interface Feature

Fall Guys will introduce a brand new feature called 'Interface'.

Here you can add a banner or nickname for your bean. These banners and nicknames are pre-determined, but the devs have promised to take in community suggestions.

Random Costumes

Season 2 will now allow players to randomise their costume.

If you've collected lots of fun and interesting costumes, you may want to show them all off.

This feature now allows you to quickly select a random costume to enter the game with.

Custom Lobbies

Custom Lobbies may be added to Fall Guys at some point in the future.

While it's ambitious to expect it in Season 2, we can always be optimistic that it may arrive in this new update.

In an interview with The Loadout, Joe Walsh who works for Mediatonic; the developer behind Fall Guys. Joe had a lot of interesting information regarding the game's future, including some details on the release of custom lobbies.

"Fall Guys is ultimately a TV show, and people want to be the director, they want to run their own show. We totally hear the demand for that, but it'll take us a little while to figure out what that looks like exactly. But it's on our list of things to do."

This would be an amazing feature that would allow players to compete against their friends in new and whacky ways.

Cross-Play

That's not all, cross-play may also come to Fall Guys!

Again, while it's tough to see this being added in Season 2, it's a big possibility with huge potential once more platforms are added.

Joe Walsh who works for Fall Guy's developer Mediatonic noted the following in an interview with The Loadout:

"We're still committed to it. I think we're committed to it even more than we were before."

However, Joe also notes that there is "nothing new on that front, I'm afraid,".

So as of now, we know they are working on the cross-play feature so that is always a plus!

Season 2 Rewards

We're expecting up to 40 new items to become available in Season 2, unlocked by progressing through episodes and levelling up.

Season 1 included the following rewards:

  • 3 Crowns
  • 2 Emotes
  • 1 Celebration
  • 5 Lower costume parts
  • 5 Upper costume parts
  • 2 Faceplates
  • 7 Colours

Players will again need to collect Fame to rank up their Season Pass
