As players drop into Rebirth Island, grind through the Battle Pass, and play some of the brand-new multiplayer game modes, the first season of post-launch content for Black Ops Cold War has been met with widespread positivity from the passionate community.

Although the content has proved popular, there are still a number of bugs that currently plague the game.

This particular bug has caused plenty of frustration for players that simply want to call in their hard-earned scorestreaks.

So what’s the reason as to why you can’t call in scorestreaks during a multiplayer match?

Unable To Call In Scorestreaks

Calling in scorestreaks is a sure-fire way of scoring a few extra kills and earning some additional score.

The arsenal contains a variety of streaks that can provide support for the entire team or can be used to eliminate a number of targets simultaneously, enabling you and your team to retake control of a specific area of the map.

One Xbox player has encountered the issue where they are unable to call in any scorestreaks they have earned even when pressing right on the D-Pad.

While dying does fix the issue, it is a huge inconvenience especially if you’re on a massive killstreak or in a prime position to execute the best play of the game.

How exactly can you fix this issue?

How To Fix

Some players have uncovered a simple fix that seems to rectify the problem.

To be able to call in scorestreaks during a match, simply open up the pause menu and close it. This should allow you to select and call in scorestreaks once again.

Due to the somewhat strange nature of the problem, it is likely Treyarch is working on a fix for an upcoming update.
