Like Season One, there will be new weapons arriving to Warzone alongside an update to the loot pool.

The FARA 83 assault rifle and LC10 SMG will be arriving to Verdansk and Rebirth Island as elements of the updated loot pool and can be unlocked by reaching Tier 15 and Tier 31 of the Season Two Battle Pass.

Warzone Season 2 Game Modes

For Season Two, there will be two brand-new game modes arriving to the Battle Royale.

The first of the two modes is Rebirth Island Resurgence Extreme which arrives during the opening week of the season.

The mode takes the standard Resurgence mode to another level by increasing the player count to 90 to create a fast and furious battle to be the last squad standing. Similar to Resurgence, players will be able to spawn back into the action if the countdown reaches zero and one of their comrades is still alive.

The second game mode is Exfiltration and is coming at some point during the course of the season. This take on traditional BR adds the ability to exfiltrate from the action.

During a match of Exfiltration, a radio will appear somewhere in Verdansk. If a player can hold onto it for a specific period of time, they will automatically win the game. With the location of the radio appearing on everyone’s minimap, keeping hold of the radio is no easy task.

Aside from being able to win the game by holding onto the radio, if nobody has secured it for the specified time, the last player or squad standing will still climb aboard the victory helicopter.

Warzone Season 2 Points Of Interest

For the first time since the roof of the stadium was breached, new points of interest have started to appear in Verdansk!

According to Call of Duty leaker @ModernWarzone, the new points of interests are missile silos that have appeared across the map.

Based on the images above, it looks like there will be numerous ways to access the silos, adding yet another area of the map to be discovered.

Perhaps there are some hidden secrets hiding within the silos?

Another point of interest slowly making its way towards Verdansk is the cargo ship known as Vodianoy. Last seen off the coast of Rebirth Island, the ship looks like it’s heading straight into Verdansk.

What could be on board the ship? Is it Nova 6 gas?

Warzone Season 2 In-Game Event

With the tagline for Season Two being “the end begins”, could the new season spell the end of Verdansk as we know it?

If missile silos have appeared alongside the unknown cargo on board the ship, is an in-game event on the cards?

We know that the nuclear device in Bunker 10 has yet to be detonated but it looks like something much bigger could be on the horizon…
