Palworld just came out less than a week ago but it looks like the game’s future is going to be a bright one. It was recently confirmed that PvP, cross-play, and many other features will be implemented in the future.
All of these features were confirmed by the game’s official English Twitter account, which shared a roadmap for what’s coming to the Pokémon-like survival title. We already mentioned PvP and cross-play, but there are also Raid Bosses, server transferring, new islands, and more.
No release date for these Palworld updates was given, so fans might be in for a long wait before some of these come to fruition. Let’s just hope that the developers keep their promise and slowly release these updates in the future, given this game’s popularity.
Adding these features will guarantee a ton of replayability for this Pokémon-like survival game, especially with more islands to explore. Giving players more Pals via updates is also a great way to keep the game alive and is something that the Pokémon games should copy.
Palworld has already sold millions of copies and it’s been less than a week since the game’s release. It seems that the popular “Pokémon with guns” meme has carried this game’s reputation, hence, all of these sales. What makes all of these sales more interesting is that the game is available in Game Pass, so those users can play this without spending too much.
It’s not all positivity surrounding Palworld, as the game has also been embroiled in some plagiarism controversy. Accusations of the devs reusing Pokémon designs have been thrown around and there has been some damning evidence against it. This has also led to some of the game’s devs getting death threats, which is never good, blurring the lines for gamers.
