The Sims 5 Release Date
So far there has been no mention of a release date for The Sims 5.
Due to this, it's unlikely we'll see this title any time soon.
We'll most likely get some news later in the year or in 2022.
Trailer
As EA is being so secretive of The Sims 5 there's obviously no trailer yet.
Although a Youtuber, OriginZ, has created a fan-made trailer.
You can watch it below, do you think this is what The Sims 5 will look like?
Price
There's no way to be 100% sure of the price point although we can guess a ballpark figure.
As with most games, there should be some different editions.
Most titles of 2020 and 2021 are around £50, sometimes going up to £70 for console.
Open-World
Probably the biggest downfall of The Sims 4 was the loss of open-world.
Thinking about it, many of us took this feature in The Sims 3 for granted.
The Sims 4 is a great game but I'm so much more willing to stay on my home lot because I don't want to deal with the load screens.
Its predecessor was perfect as you barely ever encountered said load screens.
This is an aspect of the game that really needs to be addressed for The Sims 5, the majority of the community believe so too.
Multiplayer
If you're a lover of The Sims, no doubt you've wanted to play with friends.
Unfortunately, that isn't a feature unless you use a mod to do so.
It looks like that could change...
In an interview with Forbes, EA’s Andrew Wilson revealed that the “notion of social interactions and competition like the kind of things that were actually present in The Sims Online many many years ago […] will start to become a part of The Sims experience in the years to come”.
Fingers crossed this means we'll see multiplayer become a part of The Sims 5.
