There's no shortage of fruit, vegetables and flowers to grow in Fae Farm. Some are great for restoring energy, while others just bring a nice aesthetic to players' farms. If you've wondered how to get frost beets in Fae Farm, though, you're not alone.

They're important for one of the game's main quests, but these strange vegetables aren't grown from any old seed purchased from any old merchant. In this guide, we'll take you through the different ways frost beets can be grown so your farm can be self-sustaining in no time.

How to grow frost beets in Fae Farm

If you're just starting out on your journey to get frost beets, a touch of magic is required. To begin, you'll need to visit Holly in the town's centre and purchase some turnip seeds from her for five gold florins each. Turnips can be planted in any soil, and only need to be watered four times before they can be harvested.

Before running off to plant the turnips, be sure to buy some magic crop swap fertilizer from Holly too. It costs 50 gold florins each, and players will need to reach farming level 3 before they become available for purchase.

Holly sells Turnips and Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer, exactly what you need.

With the turnips in one hand and magic fertilizer in the other, you should return to your farm in the Fae realm. Significant story progress is needed to unlock it, but the only alternative is to use fae soil beds at the regular farm. Regardless of where they're being grown or the soil they're being grown in, use the fertilizer on the soil and plant the turnips in it to begin the process.

It's worth noting that the turnips are not guaranteed to become frost beets, so planting several at once is recommended. Once the beets have grown, they can be harvested as normal.

As a bonus, players can turn one frost beet into three frost beet seeds with a garden bench. These can be planted in any soil, gradually growing into a harvestable frost beet after being watered for four days without any fertilizer needed.

That's everything there is to say about frost beets. While you're here, check out our guide outlining how many chapters are in the game. You should also check out our review.
