Tracking down Thresher Waterwheel chest locations can be tricky and exhausting and this guide will help you find the two chests hidden near the waterwheel, containing helpful items for your party.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth lets you explore various locations. Throughout its open world, you will find several valuable items. As you journey through Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, keep an eye out for Cache Locations, and hidden areas with multiple chests to discover. The Thresher Waterwheel, just east of Kalm, is one such location. These chests contain valuable loot that will help you and your party members during the campaign.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Thresher Waterwheel chest locations
Here is a simple step-by-step guide that will help you find Thresher Waterwheel chest locations.
- Locate the Thresher Waterwheel: Look for a large waterwheel jutting out over the plains east of Kalm.
- Find the first chest: Go behind the large waterwheel, beside the wooden column in the corner. Look for the chest's glowing light in the shadows. It contains a Mist Potion, healing your entire party for 350 HP.
- Find the second chest: Turn right from the first chest and head towards the half-destroyed brick column under the archway. Go behind the column to find the chest containing a Hi-Potion, restoring 700 HP to one character.
In addition to these two chests, just east of the waterwheel is the Grassy Viaduct, another Cache Location with three chests. These hold Potions, an Emerald, and Plumes of Phoenix Down.
Remember, the Thresher Waterwheel and Grassy Viaduct are just two of many Cache Locations (49 total) scattered worldwide. Finding all chests won't grant trophies, but it helps complete the Play Log (available after beating the story). Explore and discover more hidden treasures!
Furthermore, while you're here, break crates near the wheel for Moogle Medals and explore the river for Numinous Ashes and the Planet's Blessing.
This is everything to collect around the area, but we encourage you to continue exploring to see what other items you can find along your journey.
