Warzone Season 2 for Black Ops Cold War is finally here, and that means there's a whole new set of Battle Pass rewards to chase.
If you've not jumped into Call of Duty's battle royale since it launched in 2020, you may be wondering where to begin.
The good news is that the cost of entry is, well, zilch.
Is Warzone Free On PS4 and PS5?
The simple answer? Yes.
Unlike Microsoft's previous Xbox Live Gold requirement (which it thankfully rescinded early in 2021), Warzone doesn't need a PlayStation Plus subscription because it's a free-to-play title.
That's not to say PlayStation Plus isn't worth looking into, though. Thanks to a deal between Sony and Activision, players can grab extra Warzone swag through PS Plus content drops - usually one per season.
Not only can you download Warzone right now and start playing, but you'll also be able to earn content through the free Battle Pass.
If you do decide you like the game, you can splash out on the premium Battle Pass for even more rewards - many of which carry over into Black Ops Cold War or Modern Warfare.
