Live Blog - Day 1
Day One Comes To An End - 23:42 BST
Well, what an eventful ending to the first day of CDL Playoffs! Congratulations to OpTic Gaming LA and Paris Legion who advance into the next round of the loser's bracket. Commiserations to the Seattle Surge and the LA Guerrillas who fall at the first hurdle. You'll be back stronger next year.
Day two of Playoffs gets underway tomorrow at 8PM BST.
OpTic Gaming Los Angeles 3-2 Los Angeles Guerrillas
Bruce saves the day! Superstar sub Dashy keeps the Green Wall alive as they take Piccadilly S&D 6-4 and the series 3-2. The Los Angeles Guerrillas are eliminated from CDL Champs. What a mad ending to day one!
BRUUUUCE - 23:13 BST
Due to connectivity issues, Kenny will not be taking part in map five. Taking his place will be Dashy. Let's hope he's been shooting bots in a private lobby...
The Final Showdown - 23:05 BST
Despite the issues, it all comes down to a single game of Search & Destroy. One team leaves empty-handed while the other guarantees $100,000.
OpTic Gaming Los Angeles 2-2 Los Angeles Guerrilas - 23:00 BST
The series is going the distance in controversial circumstances as the Guerrillas take St. Petrograd Hardpoint to force a fifth and final map.
It Happens AGAIN! - 22:59 BST
During game four, it appears Kenny has disconnected from the game! The Guerrillas quickly race away with the lead as OGLA continue to play a man down...
OpTic Gaming Los Angeles 2-1 Los Angeles Guerrillas - 22:46 BST
2-1 to the Green Wall! OpTic LA secure St. Petrograd Domination to take the series lead. The Guerrillas managed to put up a fight but it wasn't enough. Can they bounce back in game four to avoid an early exit?
OpTic Gaming Los Angeles 1-1 Los Angeles Guerrillas - 22:24 BST
All tied up! The Green Wall manages to bounce back after an unfortunate situation to secure Gun Runner S&D 6-4 to level the series. It's all to play for!
OpTic Gaming Los Angeles 0-1 Los Angeles Guerrillas - 21:55 BST
First blood goes to the Guerrillas! They take Gun Runner Hardpoint 250-217 to take the early lead. A shame about Kenny lagging out during the game, the result could well have been different.
BREAKING: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War CONFIRMED! - 21:35 BST
After several hours of deciphering the numbers, the first teaser trailer for the latest Call of Duty game has been found. A full reveal is taking place on August 26th in VERDANSK.

OpTic Gaming Los Angeles v Los Angeles Guerrillas - 21:12 BST
UP NEXT: We are about to see the last battle for Los Angeles this season! Who is going to walk away with the second W of the night?
Paris Legion 3-0 Seattle Surge - 21:10 BST
And it's GG! Seattle comes within inches of turning the tides on Hackney Yard Domination but the Legion manage to hold on to sweep the series 3-0. Paris advances into the next round while Seattle falls at the first hurdle.
Paris Legion 2-0 Seattle Surge - 20:50 BST
Despite the best efforts from Octane and the AX-50, Paris manage to take Arklov Peak S&D 6-4 to secure a 2-0 lead in the series. Is there any way back for the Surge? Or is Paris going to complete the sweep and move into the money?
Paris Legion 1-0 Seattle Surge - 20:25 BST
Well, that was clinical from Paris! They kick off the series with a dominant 250-110 win to take the early lead in the series. At points, it looked like Seattle hadn't even practised.
The Hype Builds - 20:08 BST
We are edging closer to the first game of the day. Who is going to be the star of the show?
Paris Legion v Seattle Surge - 19:50 BST

Live Blog - Day 2
Day 2 Summary - 22:55 BST
Day two of CDL Playoffs is done and dusted. Another two teams have advanced into the next round while two have fallen into the loser's bracket.
The first game of the day saw the Toronto Ultra take on the London Royal Ravens in a hotly contested match. The series ended in controversial fashion, as Zer0 appeared to experience connection issues, leaving the four remaining London players to salvage a game five. Toronto capitalised and took the series 3-1.
Game two of the day saw no connection issues for the players. New York struck first with an opening map win but the RØKKR weren't done yet. New signing Exceed excelled with the sniper in game two to level the series. The Subliners responded with a convincing win in game four, and managed to keep the momentum rolling into Hackney Yard Hardpoint, where they managed to mount a late comeback to secure a 3-1 win.
London drops down to play the Paris Legion on Saturday, while Minnesota will face OpTic Gaming Los Angeles where the loser of both matches will be eliminated from the tournament. New York and Toronto both advance, setting up clashes with the Chicago Huntsmen and the Florida Mutineers.
Let's do it all again tomorrow! Day three of Playoffs begins at 8PM BST.
Minnesota RØKKR 1-3 New York Subliners - 22:51 BST
GGWP! Attach makes two crucial kills on the middle Hardpoint to mount the late charge for New York. They take Hackney Yard Hardpoint and wrap up the series 3-1. Minnesota drop to the loser's bracket while the Subliners advance to the next round.
Minnesota RØKKR 1-2 New York Subliners - 22:35 BST
The Subliners extend their lead with a 170-130 win on St. Petrograd Domination to secure match point. Can Minnesota win the next game to take the series all the way to a game five?!
Minnesota RØKKR 1-1 New York Subliners - 22:15 BST
The RØKKR exceeds expectations as the new recruit dominates with the sniper rifle. Minnesota take Arklov Peak S&D 6-1 to level the series. Another Domination to follow, and we still have all 10 players in the lobby!
Chance for MVP - 21:59PM
Early call for Chance to be crowned Champs MVP after that solo cast.
Minnesota RØKKR 0-1 New York Subliners - 21:53 BST
WHAT A CAST FROM CHANCE. New York Subliners take Rammaza Hardpoint 250-228 to strike first in the series. Casting that solo is no mean feat!
Minnesota RØKKR v New York Subliners - 21:28 BST
UP NEXT: The Minnesota RØKKR and the New York Subliners get their Playoffs campaign underway. Let's hope we get all 10 players staying in the lobby for the duration of the series.
London Royal Ravens 1-3 Toronto Ultra - 21:16 BST
That's it! Toronto Ultra take Hackney Yard Hardpoint to secure the series 3-1. Yet another case of a player being booted offline during the biggest tournament of the season. Something needs to change and quickly.
London Royal Ravens 1-2 Toronto Ultra - 21:00 BST
Toronto bounce straight back with a win on Gun Runner Domination. They move to match point. What do London have left in the playbook?
London Royal Ravens 1-1 Toronto Ultra - 20:41 BST
London equalise with a fairly comfortable 6-3 win on Rammaza S&D. Cammy ALMOST scored the ace but the Royal Ravens managed to flock to the finish line. Domination up next!
London Royal Ravens 0-1 Toronto Ultra - 20:21 BST
Toronto strike first! They secure Gun Runner Hardpoint 250-158 to take the early lead. CleanX and Methodz in fine form while London struggled to keep up with the fast pace and slaying superiority.
London Royal Ravens v Toronto Ultra - 20:04 BST
Here we go! We are just moments away from the first game of the day. Can London beat the most recent Home Series winners? Or is Chef Zinni going to cook up a storm?
Early Predictions - 18:45 BST
We are just over an hour away before the second day of CDL Playoffs gets underway. The London Royal Ravens take on the Toronto Ultra while the New York Subliners takes on the Minnesota RØKKR in the second game of the day.
I think London v Toronto can easily go the distance while New York have the chance to take down an out of sorts Minnesota team. Let us know your predictions in the comments!
Livestream Start Time - 15:00 BST
The second day of COD Champs 2020 begins today, 20th August, with the playoffs.
Today's matches feature:

- New York Subliners vs Minnesota RØKKR (4.30pm ET/9.30pm BST)
The livestream begins at 7.55pm BST - be sure to tune in!
Day 1 Summary - 14:00 BST
Day 1 of the playoffs saw a clinical performance from Paris Legion, putting Seattle Surge to the sword.
While both squads had even performances in the league, there was nothing even about this 3-0 fixture.
The second match was a Los Angeles showdown in which OpTic Gaming narrowly edged out the Guerrillas in controversial fashion. Kenny was subject to connection issues that saw substitute Dashy get drafted in for the final map and pull off a jaw-dropping performance to take the win.
Live Blog - Day 3
Day 3 Summary
Day three of CDL Playoffs is done and dusted. Another four teams battled it out to avoid dropping into the loser's bracket.
First up, Chicago Huntsmen began their Playoffs campaign against the New York Subliners. The series went all the way down to a game five finale, with King Scump coming in clutch for the Huntsmen to take a hard-fought series 3-2.
The second game was just as close. The Toronto Ultra faced off against the Florida Mutineers. Florida unleashed the kraken to take the first game but the Ultra responded well in game two to level the series. Hackney Yard Domination played host to another close game, with Toronto extending their lead with a five-point win. Game four was incredible. The whole game came down to a mad scramble for control of the final hill but Toronto managed to secure spawns to win the game 250-249 to wrap up a convincing 3-1 win.
New York and Florida drop into the loser's bracket while Chicago set up an almighty clash with Atlanta and Toronto face off against the Dallas Empire.
Day four of CDL Playoffs at the slightly earlier time of 6PM BST. You won't want to miss it!
Toronto Ultra 3-1 Florida Mutineers - 23:20 BST
WHAT AN ENDING TO GAME FOUR OH MY.... Toronto Ultra take St. Petrograd Hardpoint by a SINGLE POINT to secure the series 3-1. The Mutineers drop into the loser's bracket while Toronto continue in the winner's bracket.

Live Blog - Day 4
Day 4 Summary
The fourth day of action from the CDL Playoffs has concluded. We have the first two teams qualified for Championship weekend while others have fallen and some dropped out of the tournament altogether.
Kicking off proceedings was the London Royal Ravens taking on the Paris Legion in the first elimination match of the day. London managed to hold strong against the Legion in the respawn modes to secure a 3-1 win and move on to the next round of the loser's bracket. The second game of the day saw OpTic Gaming LA battle the Minnesota RØKKR in a series where the Green Wall stood tall against the incoming invasion. OGLA swept aside Minnesota 3-0 to advance, sending the RØKKR out of the tournament, rounding off a disappointing end to the 2020 season.
Game three of the day was a showdown between the Atlanta FaZe and the Chicago Huntsmen. As expected, the game was decided by the narrowest of margins, with Atlanta coming out on top, sending the Huntsmen down into the loser's bracket. Last and by no means least, the Dallas Empire kicked off their Playoffs run with a tough encounter against the Toronto Ultra. Dallas started off on the front foot before the Ultra responded with two map victories, putting them on the verge of a huge upset. Dallas weren't having any of it. A ruthless display on Gun Runner Hardpoint forced the game five and with the momentum fully in their favour, a clinical 6-2 victory to advance to Championship Weekend.
The fifth and final day of CDL Playoffs is filled with plenty of elimination matches with everything on the line. Tune in at 6PM BST for all the action.
Dallas Empire 3-2 Toronto Ultra - 00:41 BST
GG! Dallas Empire DOMINATE Piccadilly S&D to secure the win. Toronto drop to the loser's bracket while Dallas advance to face Atlanta in Championship Weekend.
Dallas Empire 2-2 Toronto Ultra - 00:23 BST
The switch has been flicked! Dallas Empire dominate Gun Runner Hardpoint to send the series to a game five. How are the Ultra going to bounce back from that beating?!
Dallas Empire 1-2 Toronto Ultra - 00:10 BST
Toronto manage to hang on despite a late charge from the Empire. They take Gun Runner Domination to take the lead for the first time! Do they have what it takes to send Dallas to the loser's bracket?!
Halftime - 00:04 BST
An unorthodox A-C hold for Toronto gives them a solid lead heading into the final five minutes.
Dallas Empire 1-1 Toronto Ultra - 23:54 BST
Toronto respond in emphatic fashion with a 6-4 win on St. Petrograd S&D with Classic going huge throughout the series. Who is going to grab the advantage in the Domination?
Dallas Empire 1-0 Toronto Ultra - 23:34 BST
Although the 250-182 scoreline looks close, the Dallas Empire were in full control throughout the map. They take the early lead. Shotzzy switching up the meta with the GRAU?!
The Start Awaits... - 23:15 BST
While we wait for the game to get underway, who are the players to watch this series? Cammy has been immense in Search & Destroy while Shotzzy has been one of the best players throughout the season in all modes.
Predictions Time - 22:39 BST
Considered to be one of the very best teams in the league, the Dallas Empire have shown signs of total brilliance throughout the regular season. As for Toronto, they have hit form at the perfect time and look to destroy the Empire on their way to Championship Weekend.
Toronto have a great chance of causing an upset, but Dallas have been clinical several times when the pressure is on. I'm calling a 3-1 win to the Empire.
Dallas Empire v Toronto Ultra - 22:32 BST
UP NEXT: The final match of the day will see the Dallas Empire begin their Playoffs run with a tricky encounter against an in-form Toronto Ultra!
Atlanta FaZe 3-2 Chicago Huntsmen - 22:25 BST
ATLANTA TAKE IT. The FaZe move onto the next round while Chicago fall into the loser's bracket. Can they make a run to the finals?! What a series.
Level AGAIN - 22:13 BST
Which of these two teams is going to get a breakthrough?!
Atlanta FaZe 2-2 Chicago Huntsmen - 21:58 BST
WE'RE GOING TO A GAME FIVE! Chicago wrap up St. Petrograd Hardpoint to take the series to a deciding S&D. One of these teams is dropping to the loser's bracket, who is it gonna be?!
Atlanta FaZe 2-1 Chicago Huntsmen - 21:47 BST
Advantage Atlanta! They take Gun Runner Domination to regain the lead in this extremely close series. No room for error for the Huntsmen as they look to force a second S&D of the series.
Atlanta FaZe 1-1 Chicago Huntsmen - 21:27 BST
All tied up! Chicago Huntsmen make a decisive call to eliminate the remaining Atlanta players to take the round 11. A HUGE Domination is next!
So close... - 21:18 BST
Nothing is separating these two teams... It could go either way.
Atlanta FaZe 1-0 Chicago Huntsmen - 21:02 BST
Early rotations pay off for Atlanta as they take Rammaza Hardpoint 250-177 to kick off proceedings. Who is going to step up for the Huntsmen to mount a response?
Predictions! - 20:49 BST
This match is too close to call. I honestly cannot decide who is going to win this game. Who is walking away with the W? Let us know in the comments!
Atlanta FaZe v Chicago Huntsmen - 20:24 BST
UP NEXT: We have an almight showdown! The Huntsmen face off against the FaZe for a spot in the next round of the winner's bracket.
Minnesota RØKKR 0-3 OpTic Gaming LA - 20:23 BST
GG! The Green Wall stand tall as they secure the sweep over the Minnesota RØKKR. They are eliminated from the competition while OGLA move on into the next round.
Minnesota RØKKR 0-2 OpTic Gaming LA - 20:04 BST
It's a domination on Piccadilly! OGLA take game two 6-1 thanks to a sublime double kill from Kenny in the final round. What does Minnesota have left in the tank?
Minnesota RØKKR 0-1 OpTic Gaming LA - 19:50 BST
WHAT AN OPENING GAME! OpTic Gaming LA snatch Azhir Cave Hardpoint from the grasp of Minnesota to kick off the series!
Prediction Time! - 19:33 BST
Like the last series, there's plenty of potential for this series to go the distance. If SlasheR and the Green Wall are firing on all cylinders, this could well be a very quick series against an out of sorts Minnesota team.
Minnesota RØKKR vs OpTic Gaming LA - 19:20 BST
UP NEXT: The Minnesota RØKKR take on OpTic Gaming Los Angeles in the second elimination match of the day.
London Royal Ravens 3-1 Paris Legion - 19:15 BST
GG! The London Royal Ravens take Rammaza to halt the Paris comeback. They win the series 3-1 sending the Legion packing. The Royal Ravens advance to play the New York Subliners tomorrow!
London Royal Ravens 2-1 Paris Legion - 19:00 BST
Paris hold on. They put on a clinical performance on Hackney Yard Domination to secure their first map win on the board. Can they keep the ball rolling and take the series to a game five?
London Royal Ravens 2-0 Paris Legion - 18:44 BST
2-0 LONDON! They take Arklov Peak S&D 6-2 to take a commanding 2-0 lead. Paris are on the back foot now. They're going to have to come out swinging in Domination to avoid elimination.
London Royal Ravens 1-0 Paris Legion - 18:25 BST
An impressive comeback from the London Royal Ravens secures Gun Runner Hardpoint and a 1-0 lead! Back and forth throughout the game but it's London and their superior rotations that make the difference.
Prediction Time! - 18:09 BST
This has all the makings of a classic series. Last time out, it went all the way down to a game five, round eleven and it could well happen again given how evenly matched these teams are.
It is too close to call... but I have to go with the hometown team #6thRaven

Live Blog - Day 5
Day Five Summary
The CDL Playoffs has concluded. Four teams have booked their place in Championship Weekend while some fall at the final hurdle.
Kicking off the day, the New York Subliners faced off against the London Royal Ravens. The series went all the way down to a fifth and final map, with the Royal Ravens overcoming the Subliners to book their place in the top four.
Next up, the Florida Mutineers looked to make their way through OpTic Gaming LA for a chance at making it into Championship Weekend. Unfortunately, the Green Wall had other ideas, as they swept aside the Kraken with ease to move on and send the Mutineers packing.
The third match of the day saw a rematch between London and the Toronto Ultra. The Royal Ravens avenged their loss from earlier in the tournament to send the Ultra out of the tournament while London make it to Championship Weekend.
Last and by no means least was a battle of the ages. The Chicago Huntsmen took on OpTic Gaming LA. With so much at stake in this storied rivalry, the series went all the way to a game five, round eleven, 1v1 situation... Chicago's Envoy managed to win the gunfight to secure a top-four finish.

London Royal Ravens 0-1 Toronto Ultra - 21:32 BST
Toronto kick off the clash against the Royal Ravens with a Hardpoint victory. Can they bounce back in game two?
London Royal Ravens - Toronto Ultra - 21:20 BST
Both teams were fairly contested, with London edging them out. It looked like Cammy's 4 piece, a double nade and double M4 kill, gave Toronto the edge they needed going into the containers hardpoint.
Their 30 points lead quickly evaporated and it was all square going into P2, with the scored tied at 221-221.
Cammy locked down the front door, thwarting any entry from trains while Methodz went on a 5 kill spree to win 250-231.
Florida Mutineers 0-3 OpTic Gaming LA - 21:00 BST
The Greenwall easily dispatch of the Mutineers, sending them out of the competition.
Map 1 saw OpTic hold a comfortable 50-60 points lead for large parts of the game, which eventually extended to 90. But the Mutineers didn't give up, they rallied back to within 20 points. However, after losing the middle Hardpoint, OpTic rotated early and locked down Cave. The game finished 250-214 in OpTic's favour.
The Gunrunner S&D was light work for OpTic, winning 6-1. The only player that looked up for the match was Skyz, who narrowly missed out on a 3v1 clutch.
OpTic were trailing for the majority of the game, going into the second half down by more than 20 points. But consistent pressure paid off as finally took the lead back with less than 20 seconds to go.
London Royal Ravens 3-2 New York Subliners - 19:36 BST
LONDON DO IT! They eliminate the New York Subliners with a 6-1 win to advance into the next round of the loser's bracket. They face Toronto later today!
Predictions - 19:24 BST
London don't have the best track record when it comes to game five deciders while Rammaza S&D has often been a happy hunting ground for the Subliners. Can London cause the upset?
London Royal Ravens 2-2 New York Subliners - 19:18 BST
GAME FIVE ALERT! The London Royal Ravens manage to take Rammaza Hardpooint despite a late New York resurgence. Who is going to take the final game!?
London Royal Ravens 1-2 New York Subliners - 19:03 BST
The momentum keeps on rolling for the Subliners! They take Gun Runner Domination to take the series lead. Can London hang in there to force a game five?
London Royal Ravens 1-1 New York Subliners - 18:46 BST
New York responds with a 6-4 victory on Arklov Peak S&D to level the series. It was neck and neck for the majority of the game but it was the Subliners that grabbed the upper hand.
London Royal Ravens 1-0 New York Subliners - 18:22 BST
London strike first! They take Gun Runner Hardpoint 250-180 to take the early lead. We have a game on our hands.
Predictions! - 18:01 BST
As much as I am a fan of the Royal Ravens, defeating the Subliners is certainly going to be a challenge. If London can snatch a Domination, a game five could be on the cards but I think that New York will close out the series with a 3-1 win.

Live Blog - Finals Day 1
Championship Weekend - Day One Summary
What a day of Call of Duty. The first day of Championship Weekend has concluded and the finalists have been decided.
Kicking off the day were the London Royal Ravens looking to continue their Cinderella story against the Chicago Huntsmen. London started strong, taking the opening game before the Huntsmen began to take down the ravens in game two to level the series. Game three was a hotly contested affair, but Chicago emerged the victors in the Domination which ultimately turned the tide of the series. Armed with the momentum, Chicago secured game four to wrap up a 3-1 win while London's run came to an end.
The second game of the day saw two North American juggernauts take centre stage. Atlanta FaZe faced off against the Dallas Empire for a spot in the Grand Finals. The series went all the way down to a fifth and final map, with the Dallas Empire managing to grab the W and move on to the Grand Final.
Rounding out day one saw the FaZe back in action against the Huntsmen for the second place in the finals. The Huntsmen came out swinging, taking the opening Hardpoint but the FaZe responded, taking a nail-biting Arklov Peak S&D to level the series. Gun Runner Domination was just as close, with both teams heading into the final five minutes tied with 79 points to their names. By the end of the second half, Atlanta had managed to establish perfect control of the map, securing them the win and a 2-1 lead.
We had already seen what the Huntsmen were capable of on St. Petrograd Hardpoint against the Royal Ravens and at the start of game four, order looked to have been restored, with the Huntsmen dominating the early going, leaving the FaZe without a single kill in the opening minute of the game. After two heavily contested rotations of Hardpoint hills, an early rotation from the FaZe sealed the deal, earning them a 3-1 win and another chance at defeating the Dallas Empire on Championship Sunday.
Chicago Huntsmen 1-3 Atlanta FaZe - 00:08 BST
THAT'S THE GAME! Atlanta FaZe take an extremely close St. Petrograd Hardpoint to take the series 3-1. The Chicago Huntsmen are out of Champs and place third. A fantastic series between two of the very best teams in the league.
Chicago Huntsmen 1-2 Atlanta FaZe - 23:51 BST
Although it was level at the end of the first half, Atlanta turn up the heat to take Gun Runner Domination to take the lead in the series! Is this the momentum swing the FaZe needed?
Chicago Huntsmen 1-1 Atlanta FaZe - 23:33 BST
We are level once again! Atlanta manage to clutch up in round 11 to tie up the series. Which of these teams is going to make the breakthrough?!

Champs Formal! - 23:26 BST

Chicago Huntsmen 1-0 Atlanta FaZe - 23:08 BST
The tick comes in! Chicago secure Gun Runner Hardpoint 250-166 to take the early series lead. Atlanta need to regain from the loss against Dallas quickly to avoid a possible sweep.

Chicago Huntsmen v Atlanta FaZe - 22:20 BST
The final game of the day will see Chicago face off against Atlanta for a chance to face Dallas for the championship tomorrow.
Atlanta, coming in off a close defeat to Dallas while the Huntsmen are riding high off their earlier win against the Royal Ravens.
Atlanta FaZe 2-3 Dallas Empire - 22:17 BST

Atlanta FaZe 2-2 Dallas Empire - 21:55 BST
GAME FIVE ALERT! Dallas Empire stays alive, taking Gun Runner Hardpoint by a narrow margin to force a final S&D.
Atlanta has the better track record when it comes to game fives, can the Empire upset the odds?
Atlanta FaZe 2-1 Dallas Empire - 21:38 BST
Despite the early lead from Dallas, Atlanta rally to take St. Petrograd Domination to take a 2-1 lead. It's hard to think one of these two teams is going to drop into the loser's bracket.
Atlanta FaZe 1-1 Dallas Empire - 21:15 BST
We are all square as Atlanta respond with a 6-4 win on Gun Runner S&D. Nothing to separate these two North American powerhouses.
Atlanta FaZe 0-1 Dallas Empire - 20:55 BST

A vailant effort from the Royal Ravens but the Huntsmen emerge victorious to take a 2-1 lead. Can London force the game five?
London Royal Ravens 1-1 Chicago Huntsmen - 19:51 BST

London strike first! The Royal Ravens take Rammaza Hardpoint to secure the early lead. What an opening map.
