A certain section of Call of Duty players continue to embarrass themselves by complaining about someone’s reduced sexiness in a first-person shooter. This kind of news isn’t exactly surprising, given the current state of games discourse, but it’s still amusing to see these gamers complain about something they’ll barely see.

Players like Endymion are complaining about Firecracker from The Boys, as her character model has seen a reduction in her buttocks, making her less appealing to the male gaze. It seems these players are making a bigger deal out of this than they should, since this is a first-person game where you’ll barely see her butt.

Call of Duty players are known for this kind of behavior, unfortunately, making the reaction to this skin obvious and bait-inducing. One can imagine some of these YouTube personalities making whole videos about censorship, when they just want to jerk it to 3D character models.

We’re not one to shame a player’s kink, this writer in particular has written extensively about Stellar Blade, but the complaints here feel ridiculous. Activision’s billion dollar franchise was never known for its sex appeal and reducing one character’s buttocks shouldn’t be talked about like this.

Luckily, there are much cooler stories surrounding the Call of Duty community these days, so dumb complaints like this will be forgotten fairly quickly. There’s an awesome Filipina mom who plays Warzone while taking care of her baby, showing the true power of mother games. We’ve also seen players being honorable and dropping revives for each other when they didn’t have to, given this game’s cutthroat nature.

There’s even more good news for fans, as Black Ops 6 is set to come out later this year with a bombastic single-player campaign. Considering how bad this mode was for Modern Warfare 3, fans are excited to see just how good this new mode will be. Obviously, there’s multiplayer, but that’s a given.
