No good mobile game launch in complete without a set of fancy rewards just for pre-ordering something you don't even need to pay for. But if you can't figure out how to get pre-registration rewards in Harry Potter Magic Awakened, just know that it's a common problem. The game does a poor job of showing you how to claim what's rightfully yours. Better yet, you can get them even after release whether you pre-ordered or not.

The above is a running trend with mobile releases. Bigger and better launch rewards are offered for more and more pre-registrations, incentivizing more and, ultimately, upping the attention the game gets prior to release. But dishing out those rewards takes time. And that appears to be what's going on here.

How to get pre-registration rewards in Harry Potter Magic Awakened

The first thing to do to claim your pre-registration rewards in Harry Potter Magic Awakened is clear the tutorial. Once you're through getting your wand, learning how combat works, and having Hagrid take you around Diagon Alley, get sorted into a House and complete the Duelling tutorial to unlock the chat function. It's here where you'll find your rewards. Eventually.

If the Harry Potter Magic Awakened pre-registration and launch rewards aren't in your Owl Mail when you start, the issue is bound to be one of the following:

  • You're too early
  • You're too late

It may sound silly, but it's entirely true. Launch rewards in Harry Potter Magic Awakened take time to be delivered to every single account. It's the same regardless of the game. But with a large franchise like this, account numbers balloon quickly in the first couple of days, making the rollout of rewards taxing on the servers, leading to long waits.

On the flip side, although you'll get the promised pre-registration rewards whether you actually pre-registered for the game or not, it isn't unusual for this to only happen for the first few weeks of launch.

If the team decides to pull the offer after the self-proclaimed launch period, you won't get them if you make a new account after that cut-off period. Right now, it's set for the end of the first week of the game's launch - so around July 4.
