In Phasmophobia, there are six Cursed Possessions that can help players with their paranormal investigation. However, they all have their risks, and this includes the Haunted Mirror. The Haunted Mirror allows players to take a glimpse at where the ghost is hiding, but they put themselves at risk by using this.
In this guide, we explain how to use the Haunted Mirror in Phasmophobia.

How To Use the Haunted Mirror
The Handheld Mirror in Phasmophobia has a one in six chance of spawning. If you run into another Cursed Possession, such as the Ouija Board, it's safe to say that the Haunted Mirror will not spawn.
Additionally, the mirror does not take the form that you would initially expect. It does not hang from the walls like the other mirrors that you may have once chanted Bloody Mary into. Instead, the mirror is circular, handheld, and can be found lying around just about anywhere across the map.
In order to pick up the Haunted Mirror, you need to ensure that your hands are free of equipment first. Then, you can choose to take a peek into the mirror or to save it for later. By using the Haunted Mirror and peering into it, you will get a brief glimpse of which room in the house the ghost will likely be residing in.
As with all the Cursed Possessions, using the item will reduce your sanity. The Haunted Mirror in particular will deplete the user of its sanity very quickly, and if used in a dark area, or whilst already at a low sanity, there's every chance that the ghost will appear. While the Haunted Mirror is great for when you and your friends are stuck and don't know where to focus your search, the tool definitely puts you and your fellow ghost hunters at a higher risk of being hunted.
