Roblox is quite the popular title, and also one of the best free VR games out there, and luckily the process for getting it working on Quest 2 is a doddle, especially as you need to connect to Quest 2 to a PC to get things working, which is pretty convenient also.
So, without further ado, here's how to play Roblox on your Quest 2.
How To Play Roblox On Oculus Quest 2
Here's our handy step-by-step guide of how to get Roblox working on your Quest 2.
Step 1
Firstly, you'll need to download the Oculus app for your PC, if you don't have it installed already. To do this, navigate to the Oculus website and you can download it there. Whilst it downloads, turn your headset on.
Step 2
NOTE: If you've already connected your headset, skip to Step 6
Once the app has been downloaded, open it and navigate to 'Devices' in the app's sidebar.
Step 3
Press on Add Headset where you can add your Quest 2. Once you've done this, press Continue to confirm and check your wired connection via the Oculus Link cable.
Step 4
Put on your headset and you should see a prompt asking you to enable Oculus Link. Click on Enable to confirm.
Step 5
Head back into the Oculus App and make your way into Settings. Once inside, select General, and allow apps from Unknown Sources to run.
It is worth noting you can also run PC apps on Quest 2 via Oculus Air Link as opposed to a cable if you're running 5GHz WiFi and your powerful gaming PC is wired in via Ethernet.
Step 6
Once you're all set up, it's a case of finding a Roblox world that supports VR (such as VR Hands), pressing the Play button and putting your headset on. If Roblox, for whatever reason, doesn't launch in VR mode, head into the game's settings and select VR.
