Where to find the Cartographer in Assassin's Creed Mirage

The Assassin's Creed Mirage Cartographer NPC can be found between the Residential District and Commanders District of the Round City. You'll notice that he has a four-pointed star icon denoting his location.

However, it bears mentioning that the Round City only becomes accessible several hours into the campaign. Specifically, you'll need to complete the arcs that take place in the outer districts: Harbiyah, Abbasiyah, Karkh, and Sharqiyah. Then, once you begin the mission called Head of the Snake, that's when you'll be able to enter the Round City.

The map shows the location of the Cartographer, which is denoted by an icon of a four-pointed star.

Tips and tricks to discover collectibles in Assassin's Creed Mirage

Upon purchasing a particular diagram from the Cartographer, an icon denoting the location of that collectible will appear (this won't be highlighted, so you still need to look for it on the map). All in all, you're going to need a lot of Scholar Tokens if you want to purchase this NPCs wares just to reveal all collectibles.

However, we've got a few tips in case you don't have a lot of Scholar Tokens:

  • You can keep a manual save before purchasing anything from the Cartographer. Then, go ahead and buy those pertaining to a given collectible in a district (i.e. Gear Chests in Harbiyah). Once you see all the chest icons, click on them and take a screenshot to remember where they are. You may then reload your previous save and do the same steps for the other collectible types.
  • Using the Eagle Vision ping and Enkidu still help reveal the locations of nearby collectibles. Enkidu will also see glowing pillars of light in the distance, which can be marked.
  • Other collectibles or points of interest, such as Dervis' Artifacts, Mysterious Shards, and Tales of Baghdad don't have purchasable maps. Instead, you'll have to rely on exploration to discover them.

That's it: that's everything you need to know about the Cartographer in Assassin's Creed Mirage. If you've already reached the Round City, then you might want to know how to complete the Head of the Order assassination mission.
