How to find the NPC for Dervis' Artifacts in Assassin's Creed Mirage
The Assassin's Creed Mirage Dervis' Artifacts NPC is none other than, well, Dervis. He's a merchant that you'll meet during the game's prologue, which takes place in the village of Anbar.
Shortly thereafter, you'll finally make your return to the majestic city of Baghdad. While tackling the first Investigation mission chain, you'll meet up with Dervis once more. You'll find him in the Dyeing Factory, which is in the northern portion of the Harbiyah district.
How to locate Dervis' Artifacts in Assassin's Creed Mirage
At this point, you'll want to obtain the Assassin's Creed Mirage Dervis' Artifacts scattered all over Baghdad and the surrounding landscape. Doing so will help you complete the Dervis' Artifacts side quests, while also netting you a few goodies along the way.
Here's what you need to know if you want to look for these objects:
- Dervis' Artifacts have a unique icon: a hand holding a coin.
- Most collectibles have maps that can be purchased from the Cartographer NPC. Unfortunately, there are no maps for Dervis' Artifacts. As such, you'll need to be on the lookout for them while exploring and progressing through the campaign.
- The best methods to spot these items include:
- Sync Points - Climbing atop sync points or fast travel points reveal nearby collectibles.
- Eagle Vision - The Eagle Vision ping reveals collectibles in a wide radius.
- Enkidu - Send out your eagle, Enkidu, to fly high up. Doing so will show glowing pillars of light. You can fly and mark these locations, since some of them will likely be the items you need.
How to obtain Dervis' Artifacts in Assassin's Creed Mirage
Once you see the Dervis' Artifacts icon nearby, head to that location. You'll notice that an NPC is carrying the object in a pouch. That means you'll need to pickpocket the item.
This is done by walking up to an NPC whose back is turned, then pressing the button prompt. You'll see a triangle that moves inward, and you have to press the button at the right time just as the outline is within the glowing area. If you do it right, you'll successfully steal the item without the NPC knowing. If you fail the minigame, the NPC will detect you and call on nearby guards. Since you've committed a crime, this will also increase your Notoriety level.
Alternatively, you can go to the Gameplay Options panel to enable the Guaranteed Pickpocket setting. This removes the minigame entirely, and simply pressing the button lets you automatically steal the item.
