How to find and remove wanted posters in Assassin's Creed Mirage
The Assassin's Creed Mirage wanted posters will start to appear once you have at least one tier or pip in your Notoriety bar. To be clear, this particular feature is directly tied to the notoriety system. Here's a quick summary:
- Whether you're in the city of Baghdad or exploring the wilderness, committing a crime in full view of others increases your Notoriety. This also includes attempting to steal NPC pouches and getting caught.
- A single pip is enough to make Wanted Posters appear. These are represented by a square-shaped "card" icon on the compass at the top of your screen.
- This icon will not appear on the world map, as their locations tend to be randomised.
As such, the best thing to do if you reach high Notoriety is to run around and look for Wanted Posters in the general vicinity. Once you see one, walk up to it and press the button prompt to rip it apart. Each Wanted Poster that you destroy will decrease your Notoriety by one tier.
However, be forewarned that civilians also tend to crowd around Wanted Posters. Likewise, they'll shout and call for guards if you approach because they recognise you. In areas where there aren't a lot of guards, this won't be a problem - they'll keep yelling, but no guards will approach since they're further away. But in places where hostiles are nearby, expect enemies to come rushing in to investigate.
That's it: that's everything you need to know about how to find and remove Wanted Posters in Assassin's Creed Mirage. Since we're discussing a mechanic that's fairly related to combat, you might want to check out our guide on the best tools.
