The Asus Rog Swift PG27AQN could very well debut this year, alongside a number of other QHD, 300hz+ monitors, like the ViewSonic Elite XG272G-2K and the MSI MEG 271Q, however, we're still waiting for a concrete release date from Asus.
If we had to throw our hat into the arena, we'd say sooner rather than later, as some of the monitors that were unveiled around the time of CES 2022 have already been released.

Here are some of the key specs you'll want to be aware of before throwing yourself at the monitor upon release.
Display
The ASUS Rog Swift PG27AQN packs a 1440p, 360hz, 27" display, which is the first of what we imagine will be many to come.
This has all the possible benefits you'd associate with high-refresh-rate monitors, but also throws QHD into the mix for an, albeit slight for most, advantage when it comes to accuracy.
Perhaps one of the most impressive updates comes with its liquid-crystal display technology, which has been improved to further reduce response times.

Liquid crystals basically work by twisting to let varying levels of light through, and they work closely with voltage.
Previous monitors had the liquid crystals arranged so they change from the upper left to the bottom right via a single-layer voltage.
This monitor, however, has a dual-layer voltage driver, which allows the liquid crystals to change from both the upper left and bottom right simultaneously.
So in short...response times are even better than before.

This monitor also packs an Nvidia Reflex Analyzer, which allows you to quickly identify where you may be losing speed in relation to latency.

Sure the size isn't too massive and it's 1440p, but we wouldn't rule out circa $800, especially since it's positioned towards the esports market.
