While Cyberpunk 2077 has endured a difficult lifespan since its 2020 release, with a barrage of bugs and glitches on various platforms originally putting players off, things are finally looking up for the Keanu Reeves friendship simulator.

Following the release of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, a lot of people have been tempted into giving the game another chance. This has led to some massive player numbers that have only increased since the announcement that the game will be getting a sequel.

While some of these returning players are solely interested in getting rich or lounging around with V’s pet cat, a new mod is giving them a chance to contemplate some interesting artwork from our own universe.

So the mod in question is simply called ‘Banksy’ and is the work of prolific modder Neurolepticer. Their previous work has made the game look more like a film as well as adding the iconic Wilhelm scream to it.

But this time, they’ve swapped out some of the game’s vanilla graffiti for works by real-world anonymous artist Banksy. Moreover, Banksy's satirical and amusing designs fit pretty seamlessly into the dystopian world of Cyberpunk.

So, with the mod installed, get ready to be on the lookout for silhouetted figures of children floating away via bouquets of balloons or workmen painting over the phrase ‘follow your dreams’.

As well as these Banksy classics, also featured is the artist’s iconic Pulp Fiction banana gun piece. It gives you a chance to imagine what Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta might be doing if they existed as canon characters in the Cyberpunk universe.

So if rooting out these curious compositions sounds like something you and Johnny Silverhand might enjoy getting up to, you might first need to make sure you’ve grabbed Cyberpunk 2077’s REDmod add-on. This is what Neurolepticer has used to create the Banksy mod.
