Grand Theft Auto Definitive Edition Physical Switch Release Finally Has a Date

Switch fans had to wait a bit longer than other console owners for a phyiscal Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition, but that wait is over. The physical release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition will be coming to the U.S. and Europe on February 11.

Nintendo made the announcement on Twitter, though it looks like all three games aren't on the card. The box art shows that there will be a required download. Fans hoping to save space on their Switch will still do so since it requires less space than downloading the digital form outright, at least.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition received a lukewarm greeting from critics, with reviews pointing out how the numerous glitches held the experience back. Despite the critical backlash, Take-Two claims that this re-release “has just done great." That said, there's no indication whether Rockstar will continue supporting these releases and trying to improve performance.
