If you need to know whether the Oculus Quest 2 has Bluetooth, then you've come to the right place. Having Bluetooth connectivity can just make connecting up to other wireless devices that little bit easier, for instance.

Does Oculus Quest 2 Have Bluetooth?
In short, yes. The Oculus Quest 2 does support Bluetooth via an experimental mode that needs to be enabled in the settings so you can pair other inpour
You can't however connect your Quest 2 up to a PC via Bluetooth though, and if you want to connect it wirelessly, you'll need to have a stable 5GHz WiFi connection and a powerful gaming PC that's wired in via an Ethernet port.
How To Enable Bluetooth On Oculus Quest 2
If you do want to go ahead and utilise the experimental Bluetooth mode present on the Oculus Quest 2, here's how you do it:
- Turn on your Oculus Quest 2, if it isn't on already.
- Navigate to the Settings menu.
- Open 'Experimental Features' and select 'Pair' under Bluetooth pairing.
Following this, you can then select a device to pair your Quest 2 with, as long as it supports Bluetooth.
What Bluetooth Devices Can I Use My Quest 2 With?
As this is an experimental feature, Oculus themselves haven't necessarily specified what Bluetooth devices you can use your Quest 2 with, but we do have a couple of ideas.
You could for instance utilise Bluetooth headphones with the Quest 2 by selecting them from the pairing menu, but do note, there most likely will be latency issues, and you could experience frame rate drops during games considering you're utilising an experimental feature.
If you do have your heart set on using some wireless headphones with your Quest 2, arguably the easiest way to connect them up will be via a 3.5mm to Bluetooth transmitter that will allow for a much more stable and lower latency connection than via the experimental Bluetooth mode.
The small blurb for this Bluetooth mode also states you could connect up a keyboard or gamepad to use with your headset if you don't want to use the standard Touch controllers.
If you're going to be streaming media, for instance, using a keyboard or controller arguably makes it easier to type and select what you want to watch, and it may also be more convenient to use a controller in some VR titles, for instance.
Whilst the addition of Bluetooth is in its infancy with the Quest 2, it still remains a clever headset with its ability to play Steam games and the fact you can cast it to a TV for example.
