Since they finally received the massive DLC announcement they’d all been craving, Elden Ring players have all been basking in the warm glow of knowing that work on the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is definitely underway.
For those who aren’t busy doing detective work to try and unearth clues as to what the DLC might involve, now is the perfect time to undertake an intense training regimen that’ll refresh and hone your skills in time for the expansion’s arrival.
If you’re in need of a way to spice up your boss battle prep sessions and don’t fancy trying out a first-person viewpoint, coming up with a bizarre challenge run, or creating an intimidating build inspired by Skyrim’s Dragonborn, a new mod might be worth taking a look at.
Fancy emoting like you’ve just grabbed a number one victory royale whenever you beat a boss in Elden Ring?
The mod in question is simply called ‘Fortnite Dances’ and is the work of a team of modders going by the name ‘The Garden of Eyes’. A lot of their modding work seemingly consists of projects that mix Elden Ring with other games such as God of War, with most of these only being accessible via Patreon.
This time, however, they’ve seemingly decided to bring the sick moves of Fortnite’s colourful characters to the game via Nexus Mods, giving you the perfect emotes with which to convey the array of intense emotions any FromSoft title will inevitably cause you to experience.
As you can see in the showcase video above, the mod swaps out some of Elden Ring’s starting gestures for a collection of recognisable emotes that can convey everything from triumph to grief.
Want to gloat after beating the Elden Beast for the thousandth time? Unleash the infamous Take The L dance to really rub in your massive W. Need to encourage one of the more disgusting creatures in the Lands Between to take its oral health seriously? The floss dance is right there in your arsenal.
Or, you could just whip out some killer breakdancing in front of one of the game’s many beautiful vistas to lighten up the constant slog of dishing out death.
If you’re already starting to feel the groove, you’ll first need to grab Elden Ring’s ‘ModEngine2’ in order to get things working as they should.
Regardless of whether you’re now body popping at a site of grace after 360 no-scoping Radahn, make sure to follow us for coverage of some interesting streamers and guides to Shadow of the Erdtree as soon as it arrives.
