Fallout 4 mod turns the game into Call of Duty via some killer tactical gear

Some Call of Duty-style gear in Fallout 4.

When they’re not playing post-apocalyptic dress-up, desperately hunting for something to heal their wounds, or jumping at every creak or groan they hear as they travel through creepy metro tunnels, Fallout 4 players can often be found in the middle of some rather intense firefights.

While these situations can be easy to handle if you’ve spent hours picking out the right gun, have a follower that can handle business for you or can throw mini-nukes like an NFL quarterback, it never hurts to invest in some armour that can soak up some damage.

If your Sole Survivor is struggling to avoid having their limbs crippled through their flimsy vault suit, a new mod, which brings a bunch of Call of Duty-worthy military gear to the game, might be of interest.

Ever wanted to bring a taste of Warzone 2 to your next Fallout 4 playthrough?

The mod in question is called ‘PMC Operators Pack’ and is the work of modder FafnyB. A lot of their previous modding work has also been focused around the armours of Bethesda games, having given Fallout 4 players the ability to dress like a terrifying mercenary and made Skyrim’s Thieves Guild armour look sleeker than ever.

This time, they’ve decided to deliver a range of customisable military clothing to those who use Ousnius and Caliente’s incredibly popular ‘Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer -CBBE-’, ensuring that ballistic protection is only ever a chemistry station crafting session away.

Whether you’re just after some basic armour, want to adorn it with some shoulder protection and ammo pouches or are planning to adopt the full Captain Price look by donning the likes of balaclavas, tactical gloves and tactical glasses, you should be able to find whatever you need to achieve your goal.

A lot of this gear is also seemingly customizable, with an array of colour schemes to choose from, in addition to the ability to add a selection of flags based on real-world countries or factions from the Fallout universe to your helmet or chest.

Regardless of whether your Sole Survivor now looks like they could take down an entire battalion of raiders without breaking a sweat, make sure to follow us for more updates on interesting mods like this one for Fallout, Skyrim and Cyberpunk 2077.
