How do I claim the free World Cup Hero in FIFA 23?
First off, you can only claim a free Hero card for the FIFA 23 World Cup promotion if you pre ordered the Ultimate Edition of the game by August 21. It was sold as a specific bonus for those with this version, as a digital reward given to players later down the line. With the dawn of the World Cup, that time has finally arrived. All other versions of the game did not come with this free card.
Provided you pre ordered the Ultimate Edition, you'll receive a special pack on November 11, 2022. Opening it will grant you one of the 21 World Cup themed Hero cards. Of course, there's no way of knowing which Hero you'll get, and the chances are it'll be untradeable, too.
