Revealed via the Chapter 5 Season 3 key art, the master of magnetism will be the first of many superhero-themed skins we'll see during 2024, as the Fortnite leaked roadmap claims there will be an entire season themed around Marvel.
It makes sense to see a character like Magneto as Disney is likely trying to reposition the X-Men IP as a household name for the eventual Marvel Cinematic Universe mutant debut. An X-Men 97 crossover was rumoured, however, that hasn't come to fruition.

Fortnite Magneto Skin Release Date
Epic Games confirmed with the Chapter 5 Season 3 blog post that Magneto will be part of the battle pass and he'll be available as an extra reward starting in July.
Fortnite Magneto Skin Cost
With the confirmation that Magneto will be a part of the Chapter 5 Season 3 battle pass, Epic also essentially confirmed that the skin will cost 1,000 V-Bucks.
While the skin won't be a part of the main track of rewards, you'll still have to purchase the premium version of the pass to get access to the unique quests that will let you unlock Magneto and an assortment of cosmetics.
The extra rewards often include back blings, emotes, and an alternative style, which could significantly alter how the skin looks, or in some cases such as the Super Shredder outfit, be categorised as a completely new one.
