The recent TMNT-themed Cowabunga event has started, bringing the highly anticipated Shredder Fortnite skin with it.
On top of the iconic Ninja Turtles returning to the Fortnite item shop bringing alongside his Master and father figure Splinter, their long-time rival and leader of the Foot Clan, Shredder has also made it into the battle royale.
In this guide, we'll tell you everything about the Shredder Fortnite skin, including how to get it. Since you're here, you should consider checking out the best assault rifles in the game to help you with your grind.
How to get the Shredder Fortnite skin
In order to get the Shredder skin in Fortnite, you'll need to purchase the paid track of the Cowabunga event minipass. It costs 1,000 V-Bucks but it will unlock the skin immediately upon purchase.
Even if you don't have time to play during the event, you'll get your money's worth considering most Fortnite skins are usually 1,500 V-Bucks.
If you do have the time and patience to grind the Cowabunga quests, you'll find there are a lot of great cosmetics to earn, including emotes, back blings, loading screens, and most importantly, another style for your Shredder skin - the Super Shredder.
If you're a big fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, we suggest you look into getting the Shredder skin. As it's not tied to the item shop, these sorts of cosmetics rarely come back to the game, meaning this might be your only chance to get Shredder.
Recent event pass skins have been a toss-up in that sense. The Darth Maul skin did return make it to the item shop, however Jujutsu Kaisen's Yuji Itadori has not been seen since he was featured as part of an event pass reward.
And that's all you need to know about the Fortnite Shredder skin. Will you be getting it?
