Are you excited for the new TMNT Fortnite event and want to know how to get the Splinter skin? Then keep reading as we'll tell you how.
With the start of the Cowabunga event in Fortnite, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles returned to the battle royale, bringing new allies and infamous enemies into the fray this time around, including their beloved master and father figure, Splinter.
In this guide, we'll tell you everything you need to know about the Splinter skin in Fortnite, specifically, how to get your hands on it. While you're here, we recommend you check out everything new with patch v28.20.
How to get the Splinter skin in Fortnite
Just like the turtles themselves, Master Splinter is available via the in-game Fortnite item shop. No grinding via quests or through a battle pass, you'll have to fork out some hard-earned cash, simple as.
The Splinter skin costs 1,500 V-bucks, giving you access to the Lego version of the iconic character as well. On top of that, you'll also get the Splinter's Pack back bling.
Sadly, if you wanted a Splinter-themed pickaxe you'll need to purchase one separately, as the Splinter's Staff harvesting tool is available for an extra 800 V-Bucks.
Still, compared to the price of the actual Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Splinter skin is actually 300 V-bucks cheaper than those.
If you're on the fence about getting this outfit we recommend you make up your mind soon as it won't take long before it leaves the Fortnite item shop.
Usually, skins stay in the feature section of the shop for weeks, however, once they leave it might take months, and in some extreme cases, years before they make it back to the shop.
