The Game Awards Has "Four or Five" Elden Ring Sized Reveals, Claims Geoff Keighley

The Game Awards takes place this week on December 9th, live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. As the ceremony draws closer, we're slowly seeing information about potential reveals, and host Geoff Keighley continues building the hype ttrain.

Following Elden Ring's announcement at Summer Game Fest event, many have wondered if we'd see something of that scale during The Game Awards. Speaking to For The Win, Keighley was asked whether anything would compare to that moment, stating:

"Oh God, there are probably four or five things of that level. I can’t wait to show people this stuff.”

'Four Or Five' Elden Ring Calibre Reveals Could Appear In The Game Awards 2021

As for Elden Ring itself, Keighley also stated there'd be "more stuff coming" for the game, following developer FromSoftware's "bet" on him. Keighley confirmed:

"The fact that FromSoftware bet on me and Summer Game Fest where they could have done more traditional E3 stuff, that meant a lot to me. It was a huge honor to work with the From guys, so stay tuned, there may be more coming.”

The Game Awards has previously brought us big reveals, having previously announced the Xbox Series X in 2019. There's a few rumoured titles we're expecting on awards night, including BioShock 4 and the rumoured Sonic Frontiers game. We'll keep you informed when we learn more.
