While some GTA 5 players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer.
One way to do just that is to dive into the interesting world of single-player mods, which can fill the game with everything from massive raves and Baywatch-inspired missions to Yakuza Zero-style disco dancing.
However, if you’re only interested in reliving the dramatic tale of Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, a new mod, which gives one of the game’s most iconic characters a bit of a makeover, might be worth a look.
Fancy being reminded of DJ Khaled whenever you hang out with GTA 5’s most relatable character?
The mod in question is called ‘New Jimmy’ and is the work of modder shoc3d. A lot of their previous modding work has also focused on revamping the appearance of GTA 5 characters, including giving Michael some sick ink and making Franklin’s hair a bit wavy.
This time, they’ve decided to reshape the visage and body of everyone’s favourite wholesome young gamer, Jimmy De Santa, turning the Righteous Slaughter fanatic into someone who’d look right at home in the background of a Machine Gun Kelly video.
From a skin fade and beard combo reminiscent of DJ Khaled, to a collection of tattoos that are slightly better than the vanilla Jimmy’s choice to have the word ‘entitled’ scrawled across his neck, and even some fresh loose-fitting threads.
Shoc3d even thinks they’ve helped make it a bit easier to see the physical resemblance between Jimmy and Michael, giving the mod an immersive edge.
Sadly, though, it doesn’t come with a Soundcloud mixtape by this new-look Jizzle that you can play as you cruise around the streets with him, so Radio Los Santos will have to do.
Regardless of whether your Franklin has just been roped into filming the music video for Jimmy’s latest mumble rap track, make sure to follow us for more GTA 6 and GTA Online updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
