While GTA Online’s more serious residents are always stressing about maximising their cash flow or avoiding griefers, not everyone still motoring around Rockstar’s sandbox while they wait for GTA 6 is like that.

In fact, one of these fun lovin’ criminals has used the recently released Criminal Enterprises update to engage in a cool bit of cosplaying, which, as it turns out, is a pretty common hobby in the game.

Armed with a fresh set of wheels in the form of the Bravado Greenwood, this player has decided to bring the sound of the blues to the streets of LS in classic style.

Turn up the blues tunes, we’re going for a cruise around Los Santos

The thread showcasing their efforts in the GTA Online subreddit began with a post from the legend themselves, user GlobalConnection3, who shared an image of their Blues Brothers-inspired ride, captioning it: “It’s got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks… check out my new Bluesmobile.”

Naturally, this post led to a number of responses from other players quoting the film in question, with user CasualObserver76 declaring: “it's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it”, while clayclump asked: “are you boys FBI?”, before answering their own question by saying: “no ma'am. We're musicians.”

Other users made wry comments about the car’s cigarette lighter in reference to the movie, while user Zinop excitedly said: “when I saw it on a mission I was like: that's a Bluesmobile!”

User GlobalConnection3 took some time out from their long drive to Illinois to pop up a couple more times in the thread, confirming to a few players that the car is indeed the Greenwood and saying of it: “it drives like (the Bluesmobile), too. My new favourite car.”

Their testimony seemed to have an effect on the future bank balances of some users, with UnstableScotsman musing: “you know, I wasn't going to buy this car. You've changed my mind.”

Meanwhile, user Jeberani pointed out another possible movie-based customisation option for the car, saying: “(it) looks like it’s the bad sheriff’s car from Rambo: First Blood.”
