Despite being almost a decade old, GTA Online still has some mysteries that need solving before GTA 6 eventually arrives.
After all, though the single-player secrets of the game’s serial killer and UFO debris may have been uncovered long ago, someone still needs to work out who’s responsible for rigging the Diamond Casino’s lucky wheel and unearth the shady organisation clearly bankrolling all of those Oppressor griefers.
Luckily, it seems a gang of famous investigators have decided to take a break from Multiversus and drive down to Los Santos to sample the Criminal Enterprises update.
On Our Way To Solve Los Santos’s Mysteries
The thread concerning their arrival in the GTA Online subreddit began with a post from user FurryKai, who shared some pictures of the gang hanging around the mystery machine, captioning it: “found some people cosplaying as Velma and Fred, so I decided to chip in and become Shaggy.”
A number of users were taken aback by how good these cosplays looked, with user RedXIII1888 exclaiming: “zoinks” and Mardus123 yelling: “jinkies”, while n_thomas74 said of the criminals the group will inevitably have caught: “they would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids.”
On the other hand, other users called on Franklin to loan his dog to the group so it can be complete, with OKAYGang saying: “too bad you can't call Chop to come be your Scooby” and Exact_Childhood adding: “(I) wish they could add (purchasable) dogs to this game.”
Other users simply sat back and appreciated what they were seeing, with NightFlight-77 declaring: “things like this are why I love gaming” and Temporary-Square131 adding: “well that's wholesome.”
Unfortunately, some were less positive, deciding to critique Shaggy’s attire, suggesting that the character playing Velma looked to be under the influence of drugs and offering rather crass explanations as to where Daphne could be.
So, chow down on some scooby snacks, hop in the mystery machine, and make sure to follow us for more GTA Online and GTA 6 updates as new content arrives.
