Kingdom Hearts is known for having the most convoluted storylines in video game history. From characters turning out to be different characters to non-chronological narratives that tend to be confusing for gamers who prefer to get straight into action, Kingdom Hearts is complicated in itself, but many fans have started to love its unique charm and themes.
Bringing along different characters from the Disney and Square Enix franchises, Kingdom Hearts has evolved throughout the years. The franchise is currently celebrating the 15th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.
Director Tetsuya Nomura shared some explanations about the franchise's recurring theme via the franchise's X account, further teasing a different storyline slated for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 4.
Tetsuya Nomura stated that the story about the Lost Masters will be for another time. However, fans are eager to know when this will be as there are no official release dates yet for Kingdom Hearts 4, which focuses on the Lost Masters story arc.

Meanwhile, Kingdom Hearts celebrates the 15th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, the prequel to the original Kingdom Hearts game. Initially released in 2010, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep has become one of the most popular titles of the franchise ever since it was released on the PlayStation Portable, making it perfect for gaming on the go.
Kingdom Hearts also shared a secret ending to Kingdom Hearts II, featuring three armored Keybalde wielders, presumably Terra, Aqua, and Ventus, the protagonists of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.
Kingdom Hearts, as confusing as it is, has a unique formula and charm that works for its narrative and wide cast. Until the release of Kingdom Hearts IV, avid fans will just have to speculate how Sora will face the Lost Masters arc.
