Where to find Glass in Lego Fortnite
With the new Mechanical Mayhem update, you can actually find Glass in bandit camps around your world. So if you're exploring uncharted or dangerous territory, it's highly recommended you try and tackle these to get some free materials.
It's not the best way to get ahold of Glass but it's a nice method of adding extra resources to your inventory, providing you're ready to tackle bandit camps.
How to craft Glass in Lego Fortnite
Crafting Glass sounds easier than it looks, as you won't have access to the tools you need to get it right away.
First, you'll need a Metal Smelter. To get the blueprint for it your village must be level nine, so it'll take some time before you can get it. When you do get the blueprint, these are the materials required to craft it:
- Blast Cores (3)
- Brightcores (15)
- Obsidian Slabs (35)

Now that you have your Metal Smelter ready to go, it's time to craft some Glass. Here are the ingredients needed to create a piece of it:
- Sand (2)
- Brightcore (1)
Where to find Sand in Lego Fortnite
To find sand, go to the sandy biome areas, such as Dry Valley or beaches, and use a shovel to collect it. If you don't have a shovel, craft one with three wooden rods and one plank at the Crafting Bench.
Common Shovels will give you one piece of Sand per dig, while Epic Shovels will give you up to four pieces of Sand.
