In Marvel Rivals, sometimes keeping it simple works best—especially when it comes to movement.
Dashing through the battlefield might seem like the natural play, but there’s something undeniably clever and cool about pacing yourself.
Walking slowly adds some style to your gameplay and gives you more control over your movements.
This article will show you how to slow walk in Marvel Rivals for better control and smoother moves.
How To Slow Walk
For those playing on consoles, slow walking is quite simple and intuitive.
This move works best depending on how you use the left analog stick. Just nudge it forward, and your character will walk slowly.
The gentler you press the stick, the slower your character will move.
This soft movement lets you control the pacing, making it easier to avoid making unnecessary noise or taking a sudden leap into the action.
PC players have a slightly different process. The movement keys (W, A, S,
and D
) are set to a default walking or running speed on the keyboard.
Unfortunately, there is no built-in option to slow down your character using just the keyboard controls at this time.
That means PC players have to use a controller to slow walk.
Once you connect a controller to your PC, you can use the same features as console players.
The left analog stick on the controller works like on consoles: a gentle push forward causes your character to move slowly.
PC players can still use slow walking to gain a tactical edge, even if the keyboard doesn’t allow it.
Although slow walking with keyboard controls isn't available on PCs yet, future updates may add this feature.
Until the game adds more direct options for keyboard users, using a controller is your best bet to master slow walking in Marvel Rivals.
If changes happen, the developers will likely share the details of in-game updates, so stay tuned.
