With new tools such as fishing rods, fish traps, and a deployable skiff, players all over the internet are showcasing their fantastic time fishing in No Man’s Sky.

Even on the subreddit r/CozyGamers, No Man’s Sky has just reached cozy status with the new fishing mechanic, making it popular among gamers who prefer laid-back and relaxed gameplay.

Since its release in 2016, No Man’s Sky has been a passion project for Hello Games, and the developer has added content of varying proportions, all for free. Available to all major gaming platforms, including macOS and iPadOS, No Man’s Sky received the "Best Ongoing Game" Award during The Game Awards 2020. It continued to receive awards such as the “Still Playing” Award from the 2023 Golden Joystick Awards.
