No Man’s Sky’s Sean Murray Teases New Pirate Project

No Man’s Sky creator Sean Murray has teased something pirate-related on Twitter, making fans wonder what exactly the developer is planning to announce. Fans are already trying to guess what Murray is teasing, with some thinking this could be a crossover with Sea of Thieves while others think he might announce an original game.

On his part, Murray hasn’t posted anything else aside from the pirate flag, not making anything obvious regarding this future project. While a Sea of Thieves crossover with No Man’s Sky would make some sense, keep in mind that the space exploration sim is not Xbox-exclusive so it would be an odd combination, albeit not impossible.

No Man’s Sky’s Sean Murray Teases New Pirate Project

Sean Murray hasn’t really worked on any games of a similar size aside from No Man’s Sky. According to fans though, the game has massively improved since it first launched. No Man's Sky was criticised by fans for seeming rushed at launch with barely any content but it’s now packed to the brim with things to do, feeling like true space exploration at times.

No Man’s Sky is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A Nintendo Switch version was recently announced, but no release date has been confirmed.
