If you've been exploring Palpagos Island in Palworld, you've no doubt come across the various bright green statues littered around in hard-to-reach locations. These are called Lifmunk Effigies, and you might not know what to do with them initially. The same goes for the Small Pal Souls. This is where the Statue of Power comes into play.
Statues of Power are statues that resemble the Pal Anubis, and these can be found in various locations in the overworld. However, you can also build your own Statues of Power for convenient access. Today we'll go over how to build and use Statues of Power in Palworld.
If you're looking to collect Lifmunk Effigies more conveniently, we suggest learning how to ride flying Pals and how to get the Grappling Gun.
How to build Statues of Power
To build the Statue of Power, you first need to unlock it using Technology Points once you hit level six.
Once you have it unlocked you can build the Statue of Power from your building menu under the Pals tab. You'll require the following materials:
- Stone 20x
- Paldium Fragment 10x
Both of these can be mined from pretty much anywhere in the starting areas.
How to use Statues of Power
Once you've finished building your Statue of Power, you can now interact with it at any time to access its abilities. The Statue of Power lets you perform two main tasks: Enhance Player Capture Power, and Enhance Pal Stats
Enhance Player Capture Power
The primary use of the Lifmunk Effigies is that they allow you to level up your Pal Capture Power a total of 10 times. This increase in Capture Power can drastically increase your success rate at capturing Pals.
Each rank requires more Lifmunk Effigies than the previous one and the cost increases quite fast. We suggest going out with a flying Pal at night as it makes them a lot easier to spot.
Enhance Pal Stats
You can also permanently enhance your Pal's stats from the Statue of Power as well. If there's a Pal in particular that you take a liking to for either work or combat, you can enhance the following stats:
- Max HP
- Attack
- Defense
- Work Speed
You can upgrade each stat a total of 10 times with each level up adding 3% more value to the stat. Note that you will need to collect Pal Souls for these upgrades. Pal Souls can be hard to find early on, but you can collect a ton of them if you keep opening chests. High-rarity Pal Souls are also found more commonly in chests in higher-difficulty regions of the overworld.
If you've spent precious Pal Souls, then worry not, as the game provides you with a reset mechanic that will refund the spent Pal Souls. However, this comes with a fairly steep Gold cost of 1000 Gold per Small Pal Soul attached to it, so be careful about it.
