You can locate this Pal close to the Scorched Ashland Fast Travel Point at coordinates (-811, -828), typically in the island's northern region.
It appears around the island's outskirts, notably near beaches and rocky spots to the north, west, and east.
If you're up for a tougher test, the Level 58 Alpha Boss Cryolinx Terra is hanging out northeast of the Feybreak Tower Entrance at (-1165, -1556).
You can run into standard and Alpha Boss variants anytime, day or night, so there are plenty of chances to find them.
If you want to capture Cryolinx Terra, make sure to have a plan in place.
Start by chipping away at its health to make it easier to catch. Avoid defeating it, as doing so only yields Ore, which can be easily found elsewhere.
Using a Legendary Sphere or another high-quality capture tool significantly improves your success rate, especially if you sneak up from behind.
