Peaky Blinders VR has just been announced and may just be one of the best VR games to date, and understandably, we can't wait for its release.
The game is set during the events of the popular TV series and allows you to join the gang and interact with key cast members, including both Cillian Murphy and Paul Anderson, who are confirmed to be reprising their respective roles as Tommy and Arthur Shelby.
We're definitely excited for what's to come, especially since the game has been in development for a few years now, and the end product may just be fantastic.
Here's what we know so far.
When Is The Peaky Blinders VR Release Date?
We don't have a concrete release date for Peaky Blinders: The King’s Ransom just yet, but the developers have noted it'll be releasing at some point in 2022.
As and when we get more certain information, we'll be sure to let you know.
Peaky Blinders VR Price Prediction
Much like with the game's release date, there isn't all too much information surrounding price, but we can make a prediction based on other VR games.
For instance, the last game developed by Maze Theory, Dr Who: The Edge of Time is available for $24.99 from Steam, and was also available for PSVR for £19.99.

This particular price point is on the higher side for a VR game but would make sense for a blockbuster title like this one. If Peaky Blinders: The King's Ransom is as good as we think, it may just be worth every penny.
Peaky Blinders VR Trailer
Alongside details of the game's announcement, we also got quite the exciting teaser trailer, which you can take a look at below:
The trailer provides a brief look at what to expect from Peaky Blinders VR with some dark and brooding cinematic shots and a cold voiceover.
There's no reveal of gameplay, unfortunately, but we know there'll be the chance to explore iconic locations from the show, as well as having the ability to make choices that can affect the narrative and resolve 'terrifying situations' which sounds interesting.
In addition, the game's website mentions that there should be some 'thrilling, visceral combat' which sounds rather good indeed, and may also make this one of the more intense games out there.

As for platforms that Peaky Blinders VR will be available on, the game's Steam page lists the HTC Vive and Valve Index as supported headsets, and it'll also be coming to Quest 2, according to an official Oculus blog post.
This means it may well also become one of the best Quest 2 games out there upon its release given that the gameplay and story sound rather captivating, and we should get more confirmation of this as more details of the game emerge.
Being released for Quest 2 may mean that Peaky Blinders VR could take advantage of features such as the headset's hand tracking ability if you get into any fights or brawls for instance, as well as for handling any objects in the in-game world.
We'll be back with you when we hear more, but be sure to stick around as 2022 looks like a big year for hardware, especially with the potential release of PSVR 2 and the Meta Quest Pro.
