How to get Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
As per Pokemon leaker MudkipLeaks, it's looking like you'll be able to get Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. All we have to go off so far is the following tweet:
The wording of the leak suggests that Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie will be obtainable in some way. We haven't found them in the wild yet but we do know you can get them through Pokemon Home if you have caught them in previous games.
The only other possible method of getting Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie is via raids. After the success of Raid Boss Pokémon in Sword and Shield, the boss battle feature returns in Scarlet and Violet. These Kalos starters could feature as one-star bosses to ease you into the mechanic
Charizard is appearing in the game's first Black Crystal tera raid battle event, so it's possible the three Kalos starter's final evolutions will feature in subsequent ones, too. With that, you'll need to catch and then breed them to get Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie.
Of course, once we know exactly how to get Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, we'll update this guide!
How do I evolve Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
- Chespin
- Quilladin (at level 16)
- Chesnaught (at level 36)
- Fennekin
- Braixen (at level 16)
- Delphox (at level 36)
- Froakie
- Frogadier (at level 16)
- Greninja (at level 36)
Given you'll likely just catch Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie out in the wild, there's a good chance they'll evolve as usual, too. Therefore, you can expect them to evolve once each one reaches the requisite level.
All you'll need to do is hit those levels by earning XP through battles, and you'll get those evolutions in your roster. Unless you trade for each evolution, there's no other way to fill out your Pokédex.
