Even though Season 1 of Warzone Pacific has been available for a few weeks, the attention of some players is already turning towards what the second season of post-launch content will have in store. Reviews of Caldera have been mixed, with some loving the brand-new map while others have been far from impressed, with Warzone star Aydan even threatening to quit playing the battle royale altogether.

11 February 2022 - Warzone 2 Reveal
While a lot of focus is on Season 2 of Warzone, numerous leakers have seemingly confirmed a reveal for Warzone 2 is taking place. It's unclear as to what's going to appear but a cryptic Tweet from Infinity Ward implies something is happening.
10 February 2022 - Caldera Clash Game Mode
One of the new additions to Warzone in Season 2 includes a brand-new game mode known as Caldera Clash. Two teams of 48 will drop into Caldera and battle to reach a score limit. The first to do so is the winner.
9 February 2022 - Season 2 Roadmap
With less than a week until Season 2 begins, Activision has unveiled the roadmap for the upcoming season. As expected, the season is full of new content ranging from the arrival of the Bomber Plane and Redeploy Balloons to new points of interest on Caldera.
8 February 2022 - Armoured War Machines
After weeks of speculation, the first official teaser for Season 2 has emerged. The official Call of Duty Twitter account revealed armoured war machines are making their way to Caldera. Does this include the leaked Bomber Plane?
7 February 2022 - Season 2 Artwork
Thanks to @SizePlaystation, the official artwork for Season 2 has appeared and it shows three new Operators in front of a mountainous backdrop. Alongside the Operators are a range of new vehicles. Are tanks on the way to Caldera?

As with most seasons, new and returning game modes often make appearances. According to a recent leak, the hugely popular Iron Trials mode is returning for Rebirth Island, much to the excitement of players looking for a more competitive variation of battle royale action.
Warzone Pacific Season 2 Start Date
Season 2 was meant to commence on February 2 but will now begin on February 14 in a bid for Raven Software to address several issues currently affecting the battle royale.

Thanks to @PlaystationSize, we have a rough idea of Season 2's update size. According to the Twitter user, the update is around 14 GB in size. Sizes for Xbox and PC could differ and as soon as we know more, we will update this section with all there is to know about the Warzone Pacific Season 2 update size.
Warzone Pacific Season 2 Trailer
Just like previous seasons, Activision has showcased a cinematic trailer ahead of the launch of Season 2. The trailer introduces players to Taskforce Yeti as they infiltrate a Nazi-controlled castle containing Nebula V gas.
Warzone Pacific Season 2 Map Changes
After teasing changes to Caldera, Raven Software has shared further details on how the Pacific Island will look once Season 2 begins. Two new points of interest (POI) will appear on the map:
- Chemical Factory
- Underground Chemical Weapon Research Labs
The factory near Mines and Docks will feature bright green gas emitting from the chimneys with more areas to explore and obtain loot. The nearby river will appear green but won't deal damage to players that step foot in the water.
There are seven research labs to find in Caldera's underground. It's believed they are in relation to the red hatches that some have already discovered.
Rebirth Island
According to the Call of Duty blog, changes to Rebirth Island are also on the cards in Season 2. Players can "expect substantial changes" to take place as part of Season 2 Reloaded.
Warzone Pacific Season 2 Bomber Plane
Thanks to a leak, Season 2 is likely to feature a four-seater Bomber plane that's capable of destroying Loadout Drops and Buy Stations when called in during a match.
Warzone Pacific Season 2 Weapons
Considering an assault rifle, sniper, and melee weapon appeared in Season 1, we could well see a new SMG make its debut in a bid to spice up the meta. Thanks to the roadmap, we know the KG M40 assault rifle and the Whitley light machine gun will feature when the new season begins.
Warzone Pacific Season 2 Operators
As Captain Butcher attempts to discover the hidden secrets of Caldera, we may be introduced to the main antagonists of the Pacific storyline having been introduced to Taskforce Trident in Season 1. So far, recent leaks and rumours have pointed towards the following Operators appearing in Season 2:

Warzone Pacific Season 2 Battle Pass
As with the start of every new season, players will be able to get their hands on a range of new content through an all-new Battle Pass. A fresh set of 100 Tiers will be available to all players at the beginning of the season through the "Battle Pass" tab.
