Pyramid Head is one of Silent Hill's most iconic enemies, so it’s quite shocking to hear that Art Director Masahiro Ito regrets making the character. In fact, not only does Ito regret making Pyramid Head, he won't explain his reasons online.
Sharing this quick thought on Twitter, Ito quickly confirmed that he won’t elaborate on why he regrets making Pyramid Head. Unsurprisingly, fans are confused to why he'd dislike this one-of-a-kind creation, who struck a chord with the hearts of many horror fans.

Silent Hill Artist Regrets Creating Pyramid Head but Won’t Say Why
We’ve seen Pyramid Head across multiple games since arriving in Silent Hill 2, where he remains one of the most monstrous forces players have to put up with. Even the Silent Hill movies featured Pyramid Head in some overly violent scenes, which were befitting for the character.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any Silent Hill games readily available on modern consoles, though some of the newer titles are playable on Steam. Pyramid Head is a playable Killer in Dead by Daylight, so fans hoping to control this strange character can do so there.
