Modders have put an awful lot of effort into making sure Skyrim has continually evolved and expanded in the years since it was first released into the world.

Many have focused on changing the game by adding new questlines, tougher bandits, and upgradeable shouts to it, with a few even going as far as giving the Dragonborn the chance to heal NPCs without accidentally enraging them or watch one gradually restore a ruined house.

If you’re someone who enjoys interacting with ESO’s Maormer or is simply on the lookout for some cool attire to wear while you explore the Sea of Ghosts, a new mod might be worth taking a look at.

Feel like rocking some exotic Sea Elf gear the next time you jump into Skyrim?

The mod in question is called ‘Maormer Seascale Set’, and is the latest work of prolific modder Pulcharmsolis. Most of their previous projects have revolved around adding a range of incredibly detailed new armours to the game, including some killer Dunmer and Imperial-themed apparel.

This time, they’ve decided to create a full set of gear inspired by the Maormer, a race of sea-faring elves that originate from on the island of Pyandonea, located far south of the High Elf homeland of the Summerset Isles.

Made up of a suit of exotic-looking light armour with colourful scaled trappings, as well as a bone-encrusted sword to match, this attire will definitely help you stand out from the leather- and metal-wearing masses of the Nords’ home province.

It also looks as though you can personalise it a bit via your choice of headwear, with the mod’s page showcasing versions of the suit with and without a wide-eyed ceremonial mask that definitely adds something extra to the unique vibe, provided you fancy rocking it.

No matter what your mask-wearing preference may be, to get your hands on the armour and weapon, you’ll need to locate a skeleton carrying it, which can be found near the barnacle encrusted boat on The Pale’s northern coastline, to the southeast of the shipwreck called The Brinehammer.
