Splatoon 3 updates are coming to an end, as announced by the game’s official X account in a post earlier today. However, events like the upcoming Splatoween and Frosty Fest will continue on their scheduled dates.

According to Naavik, a gaming consultancy firm, Nintendo has created separate development teams called Entertainment Planning and Development groups (EPDs) for its IPs. The developers for Animal Crossing and Splatoon are in one EPD, and with the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp announcement, it is safe to say that Splatoon 4 is possibly already in the works.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is speculated to be a more powerful console than the Switch, and many games, such as Pokemon Z-A, are rumored to be launch titles. With more powerful hardware, the Nintendo Switch 2 can surely run the games listed here.
