- Stellar Blade is finally getting its demo on March 29
- The demo was initially released, before getting pulled suddenly
- Fans can finally try the game out before it's released
PlayStation 5 exclusive Stellar Blade is finally launching its demo this week, after the original release was initially pulled by Sony for unknown reasons. Now that gamers have seen this sexy slash-em-up in action, they can finally try it out for themselves and see if it’s more than eye candy.
On Twitter, the official PlayStation account announced that the demo for this booty-filled game will be coming to PS5 on March 29. According to the post, this demo will take place at the start of the spectacle fighter and end with its first boss fight.
This might not be the meatiest content, but it should be enough to give players a chance to see if they like Stellar Blade or not. Gamers will finally see if they will actually enjoy the gameplay or if this is going to be another 2007-esque title that focuses on sex appeal. Considering how hard the devs are working on the sex appeal, it’s easy to see why people aren’t immediately swayed by the game.
It seems like game demos are being treated like events these days, often getting major announcements like this one. Square Enix did something similar when Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was coming out, releasing a demo that let fans try out the combat and early portions of the RPG. More demos like this are only a good thing, as they will get more players to try out a game and see if they enjoy the experience.
Despite putting the fanservice front and center, it does seem like the devs will make sure you will focus on Stellar Blade’s gameplay. Proof of this comes from the game’s “flesh suit,” which actually removes all of the character’s defenses. This means that those who want to show off the character’s, ermm, assets will have to actually be good at the game.
The Stellar Blade demo will be coming to PS5 later this week, on March 29. Fans will get the full game on April 26, though they can transfer their progress from the demo.
