Raven Software Removes Stopping Power Rounds in Warzone Pacific

Season 1 of Warzone Pacific is right around the corner, much to the excitement of the community. With new guns arriving in the arsenal alongside brand-new Operators, Raven Software has revealed several changes taking place ahead of the launch of the new Caldera map.

For several seasons, the Stopping Power Rounds has been a hot topic of debate within the community, so the Warzone developer has taken matters into its own hands and has removed the Field Upgrade altogether, meaning it will not feature in Caldera which is hugely positive news for those hoping the map will be somewhat balanced.

The news was broken in a Call of Duty blog post published on November 30th which detailed several changes and new additions to the new era of the battle royale.

"Stopping Power Rounds are gone," the blog confirms.

Alongside the omission of Stopping Power Rounds, Raven Software has also revealed that Dead Silence is being nerfed, which will be music to the ears of players that have grown tired of stealthy opposition sending them to the Gulag.

Warzone Pacific Season 1 Start Time

Vanguard players will get the first opportunity to drop into Caldera at 5PM GMT on December 8th thanks to 24 hours of exclusive access. In this brief period of downtime, those that don't own Vanguard will be able to play Rebirth Island. On December 9th, all players will be able to drop into the action.

Once Caldera has been released, Rebirth Island will return at a later date during Season 1.
