The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is, unsurprisingly, getting rave reviews as Nintendo seems to have another hit on their hands, with the titular Princess Zelda finally starring in her own adventure.
One thing fans of the iconic franchise enjoy with each new release is seeing the number of items they can farm from their amiibo collection. These nifty trinkets have become a staple of Nintendo, with the Zelda series spawning dozens of them alone.
That said, let's take a look at everything amiibos unlock in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
What Every Amiibo Does in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
There are two points when you can scan amiibos for different items.
The first is very early in the game and will hand out common items to help you during your adventures, while the second one will happen later as you progress through the story, giving you access to more exclusive items.

First, you can unlock three outfits by scanning three amiibos in any order you want as long as they are the correct ones.
- Any Link amiibo: Red Tunic

- Any Zelda (including Sheik) amiibo: Blue Attire
You can also find Golden Eggs, a rare commodity in this version of Hyrule, and can be obtained randomly by scanning any The Legend of Zelda-themed amiibo.
How To Scan Amiibos in the Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Scanning amiibos is straightforward. Simply open the menu and scroll to the Settings tab; the option to scan amiibos is below the difficulty settings.
Keep in mind that you need an NFC-compatible controller. The Switch joycons and the Pro controller are NFC-compatible. However, if you're using a third-party device, you might not be able to use the scan functionality.
And yes, the Nintendo Switch Lite does have NFC capabilities. To activate it, tap the amiibo on the right joystick (similar to how you would do it with regular Switch joycons).
Sadly, if you have non-Zelda amiibos, the game will not recognize them as they are not supported. One more thing to note is that you can only scan three amiibos daily.
