Is there anything better than sitting in a boujee cafe and having yourself a sweet treat? If your answer to that is a huge, resounding no, then you'll certainly love The Sims 4 Cozy Bistro Kit from Maxis.
As a player who loves to build, but is unable to understand how to put my creative ideas from my head onto the page, I'll admit to feeling intimidated by the Cozy Bistro kit. My imagination was drawn to fuzzy, faded memories of a family holiday in Spain where we'd spend hours sipping our coffee and enjoying the live music from outside. I was determined to recapture it anew.
What surprised me was just how simple it was to accomplish this childhood memory with everything this kit has on offer. Boasting over 20+ new build and buy items, with a variety of swatches for each, there was more than enough to tinker with and compliment what I needed. The wine bottle at the center of the table, the navy blue awning over cheap wooden chairs, and my Sims doing their utmost to strum some passable music? It may not have been perfect, but it was close enough.
Yet even outside of my own efforts, it's hard to deny the elegance and charm that oozes from this kit. From the prim bar stools to the cozy wood-stained circular tables, it feels as though each and every item has a place in curating any sort of bistro imagined.
But what sells the Cozy Bistro kit in general, and why I feel as though it's worth picking up, is the overwhelming amount you can do with this kit. It doesn't need to be a bistro or even cafe related, because you've got your restaurants, and even your bakery.
Overall, there's so much to do with The Sims 4 Cosy Bistro kit, and it pairs perfectly with some of the more innovative expansion packs too. So, if you're into creating vintage bistros, or perhaps looking to revamp your Sims kitchen to look more old-timey, this kit has something for everyone.
