Tyler "Ninja" Blevins officially confirmed he's cancer-free after previously revealing that he had melanoma, a form of skin cancer, which was discovered during a skin check-up back in March.

The 32-year-old who took the streaming community by storm during the release of Fortnite, becoming one of the most popular creators on Twitch, tweeted on March 26 that a mole on the bottom of his foot turned out to be early signs of melanoma. He added:

I had another dark spot appear near it, so today they biopsied that and removed a larger area around the melanoma with the hopes that under the microscope they will see clear non-melanoma edges and we will know we got it. I’m grateful to have hope in finding this early

A week later, on April 4, Ninja gave fans an update on his situation, confirming the good news - he's now cancer-free.

Lesion biopsied nearby showed only mild atypia and was entirely removed with the biopsy. As of right now, I am officially cancer free. Thank you all for the prayers and kind words this last week.

As Ninja himself stated in his first statement, taking precautions like regular checkups or other forms of preemptive measures can be the difference between catching a big health issue on time before it becomes a major problem.

Ninja is cancer-free!

We're happy that Ninja is setting an example for the millions of people who follow him on social media and that he's now able to fully enjoy his life as a more laid-back streamer, as he can be seen regularly playing a variety of games beyond Fortnite, such as League of Legends, Palworld, or Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, to name a few recent examples.

Fortnite remains the main focus of his streams, naturally, especially with the new content introduced in Chapter 5 Season 2. This includes a new battle pass featuring Korra, new points of interest to explore, and more.
